Overview:
Goldin Metals is seeking a detail-oriented Production Clerk to support daily operations at our manufacturing facility. This position is full-time, working day shift from Monday through Friday. This role serves as a critical link between production activity and administrative recordkeeping, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth scheduling coordination, and timely communication across departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can balance hands-on floor support with consistent clerical output.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Enter and track production data, ensuring records are current and accessible to relevant team members
- Assist with scheduling coordination between production lines and management
- Support inventory and materials tracking by documenting usage, receipts, and discrepancies
- Prepare, distribute, and file internal documents, reports, and correspondence related to production operations
- Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other departments to relay information and resolve scheduling or documentation issues
- Identify and escalate recordkeeping discrepancies or concerns to the Production Manager in a timely manner
- Perform general administrative support duties as needed to keep floor operations running efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams
- Physical ability to work in an active production environment and frequently lift up to 25lbs
